iMOVE joined forces with partner the University of Sydney’s Australian Centre for Field Robotics to showcase its R&D achievements in Parliament House today.
The event, organised by Cooperative Research Australia. showcased a vast range of the research from CRCs and other cooperative research organisations. It was an opportunity to directly illustrate the effectiveness of the investment in R&D that the government is making to a range of stakeholders, including Ministers.
iMOVE’s focus on connected vehicle and infrastructure and the overall impact of its R&D for safety, sustainability and efficiency attracted good interest at the stand, including a visit from the Hon Tanya Plibersek MP. iMOVE MD Ian Christensen and the Minister discussed what’s ahead for the transport sector in regards to training needs, and about vehicle connectivity
Dr Mao Shan and Dr Julie Berrio Perez from ACFR showcased some of their technology and to Cooperative Research Australia for organising the event.
